Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes the information and data practices of Atom Law Group, LLC (“ALG”) only as it pertains to its non-attorney product Simvisa (defined below). Simvisa consists of the Simvisa platform(s), including www.simvisa.com and its subdomains (the “Site”), and the services enabled by and related to the platform(s) with the exception of the Lawyer Services as described in the Terms and Conditions of Use Agreement (“Services”) (Site and Services together “Simvisa”). “We” or “our” or “us” refer to ALG only to the extent it is acting as the provider or operator of Simvisa. Information provided by you or collected regarding you in the course of your access or use of Simvisa is subject to this Privacy Policy, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and is not protected by any attorney-client privilege. Notwithstanding the foregoing, your communications with the attorney providing you Lawyer Services as defined in the Terms are separately governed by the Limited Scope Attorney Agreement.

By accessing or using Simvisa, including browsing the Site, you consent to and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions of Use Agreement (“Terms”), each as may be updated by ALG from time to time without notice to you and which updates become effective when posted. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy and the Terms, you may not access or use Simvisa.

  1. Data Collected

The information we collect consists of the data you voluntarily provide to us and, beyond that, the data related to you which is collected by or through technology. The first consists of personal information such as, but not limited to, your name, identification documents, username and password, address, demographic information, personal history, and financial and/or payment information and are typically necessary for you to use the Services.

The second type consists of technical and usage information such as, but not limited to, how you access and use Simvisa. Examples include time on the Site, referring URLs, links clicked, IP address, country, language preferences, and information regarding the device or software utilized to interact with Simvisa. We may use services or tools, including from third-parties, to collect and analyze technical and usage information. As is commonplace for other internet-based sites and services, this may involve, among others, cookies, including flash cookies, and web beacons as well as employing analytics such as Google Analytics. Collecting and using technical and usage information supports our legitimate interest to optimize the analysis, continuing development, user experience, operation, security, and marketing of Simvisa.

Persons under 18 years of age are not permitted to use Simvisa. We do not knowingly collect any information from or market to persons under 18 years of age.   1. Use of Data

We may use the collected information for legitimate business purposes and activities which includes, but is not limited to: providing you the use of Simvisa to prepare documents related to U.S. immigration which likely involves account creation and management, communications and customer support, and payment processing; tracking, unless you choose to opt out of this service, the progress of your filing directly with the relevant U.S. government agency using an email or other identifying marker which we may assign to your account; responding to inquiries and comments and communicating otherwise; operating, developing, and improving our business, user experience, and the Simvisa Site and Services which may involve business and data analysis and research; sending promotional content, unless you unsubscribed from the email list or contacted us to do so at support@simvisa.com, or otherwise marketing or promoting Simvisa or our affiliates, if any; and safeguarding Simvisa, its users, and data which may involve investigating certain activities.

  1. Disclosure of Data

We respect your privacy. We will not disclose or publish any personally identifying information for marketing purposes with the exception of feedback you provide regarding Simvisa such as reviews, testimonials, or comments. Any such feedback is provided for free and we may choose to disclose or publish it. 

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, we may disclose or share the collected information: with attorneys for their provision of Lawyer Services as defined in the Terms; with service providers or vendors we use to provide the Services, and only to the extent necessary to provide the Services; with other third-parties and services we use for business and data analysis, research, and the improvement of Simvisa; where required to comply with laws, lawful requests, and the legal process; where necessary to protect our safety, rights, and property as well as those of others; in connection with any proposed or actual transfer, merger, acquisition, assignment, financing, or bankruptcy of all or a portion of the business, assets, or ownership; and, provided such information is anonymized, aggregated and/or otherwise de-identified, for legitimate business purposes.

  1. Data Storage & Retention

We only retain information as long as it remains relevant to its purpose as determined in our discretion and as required by any applicable laws or regulations. Collected information may be processed and/or stored in the United States or elsewhere. We take reasonable efforts to safeguard your personal information from unauthorized disclosure or use. However, as no transaction involving data and the internet are 100% secure, we cannot guarantee that that the information will be absolutely safe and you use the Site and Services at your own risk.

We may refer to, link to, or utilize third-parties and their products, websites, content, or services. We are not responsible for and do not endorse, recommend, approve of, or make any representations or warranties regarding any third-party or its privacy policy, terms of use, products, websites, content, or services. We do not have control over data collected, transmitted, or tracked by third-parties, including via their cookies and other means. You acknowledge that you access or use anything provided by any third-party entirely at your own risk and that we are not responsible for any loss or damage you may incur as a result of data collected by any third-party or you disclosing information to any third-party.

  1. Modification of Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy at any time with or without notice to you. As the  revised Privacy Policy becomes effective upon posting on the Site, you should check the “Last updated” date and review the Privacy Policy each time you visit or interact with Simvisa.
